Request for Proposals to Update and Expand on the 2008 SWVA Advance Mfg. Training Center Study

The New River/Mount Rogers Workforce Investment Area Consortium Board (representing the SWVA Workforce Training Center Steering Committee) is soliciting proposals from qualified sources to update and expand upon the 2008 Feasibility Study of an Advanced Manufacturing Workforce Training Center for SWVA Alliance for Manufacturing, Inc. This study is being funded by the Virginia Tobacco Indemnification & Community Revitalization Commission.  A Proposers’ Conference is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on January 9, 2012, at Virginia Highlands Community College, Abingdon, Virginia (VHCC Board Room). The specifics of the proposal will be reviewed at this time. Though the conference is not mandatory, it is highly recommended that prospective proposers attend to ensure they fully understand the project and RFP process.
